DESCRIPTION:The Match the Image evening is a fun event with our friends from Woodley Photographic Club. We alternate hosting duties and this year we’re honoured to be welcoming Woodley to The Cornerstone for a bit of friendly competition and rivalry. \n\n\n\nEach team selects a set of 50 images from their “back catalogue” before the event\, aiming to represent a wide gamut of photographic styles and subjects. On the night the judge (Amanda Wright) will call out categories of their choosing and members from each team have a short time to select an image from their set that best matches the category. \n\n\n\nThe judge will them compare the two images from the teams and decide which is best. The team with the most “best” images wins.

I hold a Master at the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain and have won numerous gold and silver medals. I am privileged to be asked to judge national photographic competitions\, and I’ve had my own exhibitions.  \n\n\n\nI regularly lecture on the photographic clubs/society circuit\, and I have had images printed with accompanying articles published. An avid monochrome worker\, I enjoy the simplicity that the black and white image affords.
