Members select their preferred competition Category at the start of the season or on joining Wokingham Photography Club. Category changes can be made at the start of the following club season.
This enables members to compete with other members who have a similar skill and experience level. Your preference of category should be communicated to Membership Secretary. There are three Categories:
Open
- Open to all Member: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced
- Critique of presented image from Judge and/or fellow members
- Judges will be informed of the Photographer’s chosen category
Beginners/Intermediate
- Beginners and Intermediate Members who want to receive a more detailed critique
- Images are scored against other Category members
- Image source for inter-club competitions and exhibitions
Advanced
- Advanced Members who want to receive a more detailed critique
- Images are scored against other Category members
- Image source for inter-club competitions and exhibitions
